Hunting Activities Calendar

January: are hunted wild boars, rabbits, pheasants, wild doves, turtledoves, cranes, geese, ducks;
- is needed the additional feeding of the non-predacious game;
- the pest control is continued (hairy predators).


February: - are hunted wild boars, pheasants, wild doves, turtledoves, cranes, ducks and other water birds species; if you have a special authorization you can hunt martens;
- the control of the population of wolves and the rest of the hairy predators is continued;
- the additional feeding is continued.

March: -are hunted woodcocks, wild doves, turtledoves, geese and big ducks (up to 15th of March), other water birds species and hairy predators;
- with a special authorization, the bear hunting begins;
- the sowing of the fields.


April: - woodcocks, cranes, small snipes, hairy predators or predators with feathers;
- with a special authorization, can be hunted bears, bustards and dunghill cocks;
- the wolf and the fox breed – the burrows are looked for in order to kill the cubs.

May: - until May, 15th with a special authorization can be hunted bears, bustards and dunghill cocks; after May 15th begins the harts hunting (males).

June: - harts and carnivore bears;
- are caught the hart kids that will be used for the purposes of colonization and repopulation;
- is recommendable to hunt the old harts in order not to let them take part in the mating season.

July: - are hunted the harts and the population of rapacious birds is continued to be kept under control.

August: - the harts hunting with an authorization continues;
- from August 1st the wild boars, small snipes, doves and turtle doves season starts;
- from August 15th can be hunted quails, crakes, ducks and wild geese;  
- with a special authorization can be hunted carnivore bears.

September: - are hunted wild boars, quails, turtledoves, wild doves, wild geese and ducks and other water bird games;
- from September 15th the grouse hunting starts;
- with an authorization can be hunted Carpatian deer, fallow deer, chamois, carnivore bears;
- the brine pits are supplied.


October: - are hunted wild boars, quails, woodcocks, turtledoves, doves, wild ducks and geese, hairy or with feathers rapacious birds;
- from October 15th are hunted pheasants;
- with authorization, can be continued hunting of Carpathian deer, fallow deer, harts, chamois and carnivore bears.

November: - are hunted wild boars, rabbits, pheasants (only males), woodcocks, quails, grouses, doves, geese, ducks and other water birds game, plus the pests;
- with authorization can be hunted Carpathian deer, fallow deer, male chamois, marten and carnivore bears;
- starts the alive rabbits hunting for the purposes of repopulation and export;
- are arranged the baits places for wolves and foxes;


December: - are hunted wild boars, rabbits, pheasants (males), woodcock, doves, turtledoves, cranes, wild geese and ducks;
- until December 15th are hunted grouses;
- with special authorization are hunted bears and martens;
- once with the first snow are placed poisonous baits and traps for rapacious birds population control.
